Jennifer Rene Psaki
Psaki, the eldest of three daughters was born in Stamford, Connecticut in 1978 to psychotherapist[8] Eileen (nee Dolan) Medvey[9 and Dimitrios "James" R. Psaki (Greek: Demetrios R. Psakes), a former real estate developer with a grandfather who emigrated from Greece in 1904 and whose grandmother was of Irish descent. In 1976, her parents were married. Psaki is also of Polish ancestry.Psaki has graduated from Greenwich High School in 1996. In the year 2000, she was awarded a College of William & Mary degree in English and Sociology. She is an active participant in Chi Omega. Psaki has been an athlete in backstroke at William & Mary Tribe. Psaki's career path began in 2001, when she became involved in the re-election campaigns for Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate, and Tom Vilsack, a candidate for governor. Psaki was later appointed as the deputy press secretary for John Kerry's presidential campaign for 2004. Between 2005 and 2006, Psaki served as communications director to U.S. representative Joseph Crowley as well as the regional press secretary of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC announced Psaki's new role as an analyst for the 2022 United States elections, and during the 2024 presidential election. In 2023 she will host an online Peacock streaming show on MSNBC.
